Corporate – Our 1st Global IV Fosfomycin Marketing Meeting took place over three days in September. For the first time ever, our distribution and marketing partners for the life-saving antibiotic IV Fosfomycin convened in Heppenheim, where InfectoPharm is based. We were excited to have welcomed 30 colleagues from 17 countries on four continents.
IV Fosfomycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic with a unique mode of action for treatment of patients with severe and life-threatening infections worldwide. It has been on the WHO List of Essential Medicines for children and adults since 2017. Together, we aimed to discuss scientific data and to share marketing strategies from a global perspective for three whole days.

Our InfectoPharm international team led by Florence Wiche has been planning this meeting for more than six months. On the evening of the first day, it started off with a visit to the German Pharmacy Museum in the nearby metropolitan city of Heidelberg.
The next two following days all partner and InfectoPharm colleagues intensively discussed and worked hard within several workshops on all important product-related scientific concepts in order to improve treatment of patients with severe infection worldwide.
At the meeting we aligned on our vision to make this life-saving medicinal product available to more and more patients worldwide.
